Oklahoma State Home School Convention

This past week was the annual Oklahoma Christian Home School Conference.  OWU was a part of the conference and we had a great time there.  The Cox Convention Center was packed.  It was a great event to attend.

Oklahoma City is really a fun place.  Above is a waterway that is surrounded by great places to eat.  This area is know as bricktown.

Here is Mark Molder, OWU's Assistant Director of Admissions.  He is getting the OWU table ready for visitors.

We were there! It was nice to see so many colleges supporting homeschooling. I have a senior this year...except she is choosing the vocational route...massage therapy. We will certainly be looking a OWU in a few years for my next child.

My family was thrilled to know Dr Bob was speaking at the OCHEC convention. Great article in the OCHEC Informer, by the way. We are sorry we missed this year's convention. Your participation really does make a difference. My oldest son, Kent (an OWU Graduate) decided to check out a small college in Kansas because they always had a great booth at this convention. He ended up transferring to OWU, brought his fiancee (now wife, Dana) to OWU. Followed by second son, Kirk and now our third son, Kyle, will be attending in the fall.
